When will my account be credited with the funds incoming from other banks?
Funds to and from other domestic banks are done through a gateway that is established at the central bank. Therefore the exchange between banks subject to the operating time of this system.
As a rule of thumb the following scenario is useful
Funds that are initiated before 12pm of a Banking Day will usually be credited to the corresponding account in the afternoon of the same day.
Funds that are sent after 12pm as well as those that are initiated on a Banking holiday will be credited to the corresponding on the morning of the subsequent Banking day.
Funds for large tickets that are submitted over the counter at a Branch will be initiated within 30 mins of receipt
